Spotify Sponsorship

In 2019, Spotify released a new ad-targeting option offering brands to target listeners based on which types of podcasts they’re streaming. Embracing the shift to audio consumption and allowing us to better reach our audience, 3M became the official sponsor of the new Spotify Original podcast, Dope Labs.

Overview

Dope Labs is a new podcast were two best friends with PhDs discuss trending topics with a scientific angle: “At Dope Labs, we believe “science is for errybody” and our mission is to bring out the inner scientist in YOU.” I helped to integrate 3M into the overall listener experience in partnership with Spotify.

Results

  • Garnered more than 2x downloads an episode compared to benchmarks

  • Reached over 7M listeners to authentically share 3M’s message of helping to improve lives through science
